Does completing training automatically make me a court-certified mediator? No you must register with every court in every county in every state.
Does the training qualify for CLE/MCLE credit? YES 40 Hours MCLE and 3 Hours Ethics for Basic, 27 Hours plus 1.75 Ethics for Family
What is the difference between Basic and Family Mediation Training? Basic teachs the general fundamentals or mediating, while Family is specific to family issues, such as divorce, child support, child custody.
Can I start a private mediation practice after training? YES Immediately upon graduation.
